Sustainability
Heal Rewilding
Heal Rewilding was launched in March 2020 as the UK’s first charity dedicated to being a rewilding landowner and it acquired its 460-acre foundation site, Heal Somerset, in December 2022.
We worked with Heal to promote Out of the Darkness, a groundbreaking wildlife soundscape experience that took place in spring 2024, where visitors, gathered around an open fire, could listen to recordings of the sounds of animals that have inhabited this landscape, both in the past and in the present. The project was developed to help raise awareness about nature loss and the benefits of rewilding to nature recovery.
Department 22
London-based Department 22 (department for the 22nd century) offers consultancy, training and education in design, innovation and circular economy, discovering sustainable pathways and exciting new business directions.
We are working in a business development capacity for the consultancy, making introductions for them to potential clients and raising more awareness about their work through events.
We brokered a relationship with Roca London Gallery and proposed that Department22 curate an exhibition for their 2019 programme. This resulted in an exhibition on urban food growing that garnered national press and developed business introductions for the consultancy.
Stuffstr
As part of our drive to work with socially responsible organisations, we were thrilled to work with Stuffstr, the game-changing solution to consumer waste.
A flagship for the circular economy, Stuffstr delivered a unique, retailer-branded mobile app that made re-sale a seamlessly integrated part of every retail purchase, increasing the life of a product exponentially and, crucially, arresting its progress to landfill.
The app was piloted by John Lewis in June 2018 and adopted by Adidas in 2019.
We recommended and recruited a social media consultant as a crucial element of this early phase of awareness-building and developed an event for Stuffstr to coincide with Fashion Week 2019, inviting speakers to discuss the future of sustainable fashion at The Conduit, London's club for social entrepreneurs. Tamara Cincik of Fashion Roundtable spoke from the policy perspective; Mike Barry, ex head of sustainability at M&S from the corporate position; and Stuffstr's founder John Atcheson from the tech viewpoint. The event was attended by around 80 people in the field and press coverage followed.
