Public Art

Hypha Studios

We are working with dynamic high street disruptor Hypha Studios, a charity that gives free space to creatives.

The concept emerged during the pandemic, prompted by the three-sided problem of increasing high street vacancies, loss of community spaces and deteriorating conditions for artists and creatives.

Founded by Camilla Cole and Will Jennings, both curators, the non-profit organisation was set up with three core objectives: to bring art engagement to the public nationwide; to help landowners keep their assets alive through an injection of local creativity; and to help artists free up their practice with zero cost studios and exhibition space.

Art on the Underground

We led the PR strategy for Art on the Underground, London Underground’s acclaimed contemporary art programme, from 2007-2012.

Working closely with the curatorial team, Transport for London’s Press Office and the Mayor of London’s Press Office, projects included Pocket Tube Map covers by Jeremy Deller, Cornelia Parker and Mark Wallinger; a major re-brand of the organisation; community projects at numerous stations and a series of works around Stratford, the key station for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Relay

In 2011, we were appointed to promote RELAY, the first three years of a nine-year public arts programme for the King’s Cross regeneration scheme.

Projects included: IFO (Identified Flying Object), a giant, illuminated cage at the St Pancras exit that has a swing at the centre for visitors to sit on; and Black Maria at the entrance to Central St Martin’s, by British artist Richard Wentworth and Swiss architecture practice GRUPPE (pictured).
