Vauxhall Pleasure, 2004

TSP ran a highly successful campaign to promote artist Anna Best’s one-off performance piece at Vauxhall Cross, gaining national print and broadcast coverage.

The unusual brief for Vauxhall Pleasure (which involved 50 people singing at the crossroads) was not to get any press coverage prior to the event, nor to encourage people to visit the site on the day of the ‘happening’.  Instead, the artist wanted commuters to discover the performers in the course of their regular journeys to and from work.
