A Foundation

2006

TSP launched Greenland Street, a major new art space in Liverpool for A Foundation in autumn 2006.  A registered charity, A Foundation was established by James Moores in 1998 to enrich and regenerate Liverpool through culture.   Through the Foundation, Moores founded the Liverpool Biennial, the first and now the UK’s largest arts festival.  The Foundation also runs Rochelle School in London’s East End, a series of studios for the creative industries which allows for a two-way exchange of ideas and practice between Liverpool and London.
