PARTI Architecture Studio

A young practice that is making waves with its sustainable design projects, including a group of houses in Sizergh quarry in the Lake District, where the building material is the quarry stone; and a bench and planter where the materials to realise the project are taken from nearby demolition works. Wild flowers and grasses add extra greenery whilst also tackling local pollution from the road and neighbouring construction sites.

PARTI architects have won planning on a particularly contentious site in Holloway with two, two-bed maisonettes. Five different schemes for the site, created over a twenty- year period by other practices, were routinely rejected by Islington Council. PARTI’s planning win thus represents a true breakthrough for their private client.
